Microchip PICkit-2 Compatible USB 2.0 Programmer for PIC microcontrollers.
This is a clone of Microchip PICKit-2 USB programmer and debugger. Unlike the original PICkit-2 that has only In circuit programming, it has a ZIF socket that can allow insertion of almost all DIP type PIC microcontrollers. Therefore it can be used as a standalone USB programmer. The module has header for in circuit programming as well, however the pin outs are not same as descrbed by microchip therefore you will need to make a suitable adapter if your board has microchip compatible ICSP header.
